Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUB Zone)
Armstrong County offers companies more than just tax incentives. Companies that contract with government agencies and prime contractors can take advantage of Armstrong County’s HUB Zone designation. The HUBZone Program stimulates economic development and creates jobs in Armstrong County by providing Federal contracting preferences to small businesses. These preferences go to small businesses that obtain HUBZone certification. Fostering the growth of these federal contractors as viable businesses, for the long-term, helps to empower communities, create jobs, and attract private investment.
